architecture of leave me alone

the world prayer center radiating vibes from the prairie

Noel's camera accidentally took this picture at the Body Works 2 exhibit at Denver Museum of Nature and Science. We drove up last night, invited to dinner at John & Shannon and Granny's beautiful house. Noel and I were really curious about the plastination, had heard good things. Disappointingly the tickets were $17, the lines ridiculous, the rooms packed and hot and hard to see. Sorry J&S. Where I pictured blood and liquids and guts and life, the show was mostly dried human musculature posed doing sports. Hightlights: black lungs are actually black, saw the difference between a child's tail bone and an adult's, pretty veins in liquid, a small red lamb. Aside from that, if you've ever roasted a chicken a little too long then you've already got the idea. I wonder what I would have thought of this in my twenties when I was really squeemish and still felt that death was a horizon too distant to consider. prefer mummies.
