Summary On April 22, 2006 at 12:12AM, officers from the Stetson Hills Division were dispatched to 2515 Haystack Drive in regards to a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that Thomas Martin, age 49, confronted six juvenile females who were in a neighbor’s yard tee peeing the residence. Mr. Martin confronted the juveniles with a BB rifle and baseball bat and ordered the juveniles to lie on the ground with their hands extended. Mr. Martin then ordered the juveniles to walk to his residence that was several houses away at gunpoint. Mr. Martin did not allow the juveniles to leave even upon the arrival of a parent. Mr. Martin was arrested for Second Degree Kidnapping and Felony Menacing.
