a dark cloud followed us up the eastern sea board
we took the high roads, dodging flood waters.
i did want to stay lancasater county
not everyone can live that way
glued together by ideology, geneology,
handmade everything drying on the porch,
no lights on at dusk, it was easy to pick out
their houses.
made me think about that movie "the runner"
how even without the industrial revolution
we can still create petty circumstances
jealous absurd maniacal circumstances
whether or not things look quaint and sensible to outsiders
i've been away from the written word for a week
i have to remember how to type and spell
we are in farmington, ct
we have left the fold
we are visiting the fold
in lancaster a handsome bearded young man came out of the
forest in the rain to cross the street at dusk
this type of thing must happen all the time.
