a shirt dress from Marimekko, a Finnish textile/fashion house that started in the 50s. They made some gorgeous psychedelics in the 60s/70s. this is a new piece.

a scarf i never wear

a dress that fell apart

the awesomest 60s forest dress

bought this from a truly weird vintage store here run by an eighty-something german couple. sort of creepy. i stopped going there. the owners close off whole sections of the store with those velvet ropes like at the bank. so you might go out there looking for a dress and find that dresses are not on sale today, for example. this dress i love, 80s summer dress, looks like luggage.

i think i got this at S.C.R.A.P. in SF, a sort of useless caftan thing that i cut up and never used

an ancient beautiful paper thin silk dress

mom made this one, my favorite fifth grade dress

8th grade dress

i forget what you call cotton woven so tight it shines like this

bought this at community thrift in SF. it's a huge piece of hand printed raw silk, maybe five yards of it. i should say that i don't really sew any more. i'm totally lazy about it when i do, nothing comes out right, and i don't care. i should give this away, and all my stockpiled fabric.

brilliant piece of silk from S.C.R.A.P.
